Sofas & Stuff

Sofas & Stuff

are Concert Sponsors of Bury Bach Choir.

Here's their story.

Sofas & Stuff is a family-owned, family-run furniture and fabric company, established by Andrew Cussins and his wife, Julia, in 2009. The Cussins family, however, have been masters of furniture for a much longer time, a history which began with Andrew’ father in the late 1930s and included bringing two legendary firms, Waring & Gillow, and Maple & Co, under their wing.

Today the company manufactures from their own factory in Lancashire, and has twenty-three stores across the country, including their magnificent location in the centre of Bury St Edmunds.

In Andrew's own words, "We believe in crafting beautiful, timeless classics, drawing inspiration not only from the past but also from lived experiences. We absorb, we feel, we listen and consider, and create furniture designed to grace your home for many years to come. We take pride in offering a lifetime frame guarantee on all our bespoke designs."

Emphasising the importance of longevity, Andrew asserts, "People should invest in items they love, crafted with care and built to withstand the test of time."

Asked about the company’s sponsorship of Bury Bach Choir, Andrew said: “In places where the company has showrooms, we believe in building relationships with people who appreciate fine experiences created by skilful endeavour – the very characteristic which has driven the success of Sofas & Stuff. I am absolutely delighted to support the Bury Bach Choir, whose committed members and loyal audience are at the heart of a vibrant and discerning community in Bury St Edmunds and West Suffolk.”
